Project SEARCH provides employability skills training and workplace internships for individuals with significant disabilities, particularly youth transitioning from high school to adult life. Project SEARCH originated at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and now has program sites throughout the U.S. and the United Kingdom. ConsumerLink holds the license for the local Detroit-Wayne County Project SEARCH.

In partnership with the Detroit Public Schools, Detroit-Wayne County Project SEARCH Collaborative has been successful in placing student interns at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and DTE Energy.

In partnership with the Dearborn Public Schools a classroom is being planned at Henry Ford College.  We are also working with Wyandotte and Livonia schools to expand in these areas as well.
